Job Description
We are seeking an experienced full time Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to become a part of our Dallas area team in Richardson clinic!
The position is responsible for assessing, diagnosing, providing treatment plans, prescribing medication therapy, and offering counsel across the lifespan.
Responsibilities:
• Prescribe all necessary medications and treatments
• Perform comprehensive physical examinations of patients
• Develop and implement patient management policies and procedures
• Facilitate referrals to other departments (psychology, Substance, Counseling)
• Communicate with collaborating physician or specialist regarding patient care
• Maintain a customer-oriented approach to meeting patient needs in an expedient manner, involving the family in the plan of care as appropriate.
Qualifications:
• PMHNP Certified/Licensed for a minimum of one year
• Previous experience in nursing or other medical fields
• Ability to build rapport with patients
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment
• Excellent interpersonal skills to communicate clearly and concisely with all levels of nursing, administration and physicians
• Strong leadership skills
• Experience working with children
• Stress resistant
Job Types: Full-time, Contract
Pay: $120,000.00 - $135,000.00 per year (Plus Commission)Company Description
