As the Social Media Associate, the ideal candidate is organized, detail oriented, enthusiastic and has 2-3 years of social media, marketing, public relations, or entertainment industry experience. The position will report to the Director of Marketing and will work closely with marketing, art, media, production, partnerships and touring departments and international team. A successful candidate is a pop culture fluent, early adopting and resourceful self-starter who can work on multiple projects simultaneously.

Responsibilities

What you'll do:

Create weekly calendar for social media posts including art assets and post copy for Rounder artists and the Rounder brand

Schedule posts across all US + UK platforms based on social media calendar

Coordinate with international team to localize social calendar for UK, Germany and additional territories

Manage Rounder’s YouTube channels and serve as Rounder’s main interlocutor with YouTube teams

Serve as day-to-day point of contact for social media service representatives

Lead the development and evolution of Rounder brand’s social strategy

Alongside media department, build and launch brand’s influencer marketing campaigns

Expand Rounder Records’ presence onto existing and new social media platforms and CRM channels

Monitor and moderate all roster accounts

Collaborate with marketing and partnership teams to ensure sales and partnership needs and obligations are met

Communicate all social asset needs to production and art department to ensure necessary materials are created alongside the Project Manager

Maintain fan interaction on all Artist’s social platforms

Prepare weekly social media analytic report/update/assessment for the team

Seek new and innovative ways to trial new formats and creative ideas on our accounts

Track and optimize artist video content to improve results and grow audiences

Utilize multiple trend-seeking tools and discovery pages to locate the best content

Source, research, and acquire targeted UGC video content for Rounder’s priority releases

Write engaging copy and publish content on Rounder social media brands

Keep up to date with the latest trends, movements and relevant news

Qualifications

What you’ll need:

2-3 years' experience in social media, Marketing, public relations, or Entertainment Industry

Candidates must be able to work under strict deadlines with impeccable organizational skills

Excellent written and oral communication skills

Strong fluency and research skills. Familiarity with all video/social media platforms and a strong knowledge of how to best navigate them. (TikTok, YouTube, Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Reddit, Snapchat, etc.)

Previous experience in user-generated content acquisition for a social agency or similar industry/field preferred.

Must have a strong passion for new music, emerging artists and current popular culture.

An early adopter of emerging social platforms and technology

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Experience in social media/online analytics

Experience with social media scheduling tools

Photoshop and video editing proficiency

*This job is hybrid- requiring 3 days a week minimum on site.
