Responsibilities:

What your days look like as a Water Treatment Technician

Understanding and mastering the treatment process diagrams to be able to intervene with logical and scientific knowledge on the treatment system in case of deviation in the system parameters.

Perform routine operations and maintenance of system critical components (PLC, Pumps, piping, etc.);

Monitor the treatment system performance by collecting data in the field along with routine sampling events;

Maintain a constant safe work environment adhering to Sanexen`s EHS program and maintain a clean environment in the facilities;

Manage all site support personnel to include crane operators, vac truck operators, electricians, and general construction crews;

Perform weekly inventory and purchase materials required for water and wastewater treatment;

Communicate directly with the client about treatment parameters and deliver flawless customer support;

Obtain appropriate certifications as required to include OSHA HAZWOPER 40 hr., forklift certification, and/or wastewater certifications.

Qualifications:

To succeed as a Water treatment Technician you must have:

Highschool Diploma/GED and/or entry level college degree with a B.S in science or STEM;

Experience in the wastewater or industrial process industry preferred, but not required;

Experience in one of the following disciplines PLC system programming and operation, pump maintenance and repairs, electrical, HVAC, plumbing, and wastewater sampling preferred;

Basic computer literacy to include Microsoft programs (word, excel, etc.) and the ability to log data from system operations into cloud programming via ipad or laptop software;

Willing and able to lift up to 50 lbs. while onsite. Willing to climb heights up to 20 ft. above ground surface with appropriate fall protection;

Forklift certification or ability to obtain forklift certification and operate is desired;

Ability to direct “others” on-site to include crane operators, vac truck services, and general construction personnel desired while on site.
