Within the Deal Operations function, the Deal team serves as a trusted advisor to Sales, focused on crafting and structuring deals. The team works with internal stakeholders to create scalable and efficient policies and processes in support of deal making & sales activities. The primary mandate is to provide front-line, day-to-day (weekdays) support to client’s global sales teams, but also including other cross functional stakeholders, such as Deal Desk and Legal.
What You Will Do:
Implement the client’s Deal Operations global strategy, in alignment with the client’s Sales business strategy
Deliver a fluctuating volume of tasks within a defined time frame, to a consistent quality
Provide support & guidance to Sales on best practice deal management & contract structuring
Identify and document task processes in support of the contracting process
Collaborate with and provide advice & deal insights to cross functional teams (systems, legal, pricing etc.) in order to build scalable, efficient processes; drive improvements in policies, processes and system, and to help increase sales productivity
Partner with third party vendor team on SFDC case/deal queries, and contribute to process improvement initiatives to transition suitable tasks from contractor team to vendor team
Must Haves:
Salesforce Case Experience
3+ years of experience in a deal support role ideally in a tech environment
A proven track record in successfully owning and delivering manual and automated processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Success partnering with key stakeholders across sales, product and engineering to surface and improve internal processes
Sound business judgment, strong analytical skills, and a provenTrack record of taking ownership, leading data-driven analyses, and influencing results
Experience working within a high-growth, technology company with the ability to operate successfully in a lean, fast-paced organization, working to agree Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Bachelor’s Degree
Nice to Have:
Comfortable working under time pressure during quarter end peak periods
Experience advising Sales teams on navigating deal constructs and sales processes
Ok with performing repetitive, manual tasks
