Overview:
The Maintenance Mechanic will maintain a variety of production equipment at our facility. Machines include CNC, milling, grinding, drilling, punch presses, CO/ Fiber optic lasers, and other production related machines. You will perform all tasks including preventative maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs and programming (if needed), while observing all health and safety guidelines. A maintenance Mechanic is a professional with a practical mind and attention to detail, able to work alone or with others.
Essential Job Functions:
Install, repair, rebuild, and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment used in various production and related services.
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment with appropriate record keeping.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair machine malfunctions and operating difficulties.
Perform maintenance of electrical systems in the facility and related machines with the ability to read and understand electrical schematics, installing and troubleshooting these various systems.
Knowledge of hydraulic and pneumatic systems and machine controls.
Ability to operate various tools and equipment including: hand and power tools, metal fabrication equipment and welding equipment.
Audit facility and equipment for safety compliance to Federal and State regulations as well as Company requirements.
Maintain a good attendance record, practice safe work habits and follow general safety procedures including LOTO.
Perform any other facilities tasks as required
Qualifications:
5+ years of proven maintenance experience
Able to lift 50-75 LBS
Valid Driver’s license
Willingness to learn
Able to demonstrate knowledge of machine repair
Strong electrical skills (12V, 24V, 110v, 220v, 480v) preferred
Knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical press systems preferred
Knowledge of fiber optic and C02 laser machines preferred
CMMS and Welding experience a plus
Ability to work at heights of up to 40 ft
Ability to work overtime and weekends when needed
1st shift hours 6:00 a.m.-3:30 p.m. Monday-Friday with additional overtime as required on Saturdays.
