Summary:

A Mechanical Engineer to assist with the engineering and design of overhead crane systems with the company s project management team.

Job Responsibilities:

Specialty Projects is a division of the company s Industries Engineering Department dedicated to the execution of high-profile projects requiring hands-on research and development, customized engineering, and concierge customer service.

As part of the engineering team, you ll be working alongside a dynamic engineering team with more than 30 years of design and engineering experience. Gain real-world expertise in:

Overhead Crane and Hoist Technology

Fall Protection Systems

Custom Structural Design

ASME/ANSI Engineering Standards

2D/3D CAD Development

Finite-Element Analysis

Overhead Crane Metrology

CAD Administration

Engineering Management

Industrial Controls and Electrical Engineering Required:

B.S. in Mechanical Engineering

0-2 years experience

Strength in Physics and Statics required.

Experience in Action-Oriented Research and Development preferred.

Strong Organizational Skills required.

Strong written and verbal communications skills.

Ability to work independently and under direction of others.

Computer skills:

Proficiency in Microsoft Office tools, particularly with Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft Word is required.

Academic/Commercial Experience in computer programming is preferred.

Academic/Commercial Experience in 2D and 3D Modeling is preferred. Pay: $26-$31/hr.
