Hear Québec is looking for a committed candidate to fill the position of Multimedia Graphic Designer.

This position will work on Hear Québec’s branding identity to develop a communication plan for our website and social media platforms Major responsibilities: Preparing concept by designing rough layout of art and copy regarding arrangement, size, type size, and style, and related aesthetic concepts Obtaining approval of concepts by submitting rough layouts for approval to the Executive Director Preparing finished copy and art by operating typesetting, printing, and similar equipment Preparing final layouts by marking and pasting up finished copy and art Completing projects by coordinating with other staff and potentially outside agencies, art services, printers, etc.

Requirements Familiarity with Adobe Illustrator You must be between 15 and 30 years of age (inclusive) at the start of employment to be eligible for Canada Summer Jobs.

Permanent resident of Canada, Canadian Citizens or legally permitted and protected under the Immigration and Refugee protection during the period of employment.

Assets Experience with Google Workspace (Calendar, Sheets, Docs, Drive) Experience with CRM (National Builder) Experience working with people with a disability, specifically hearing loss Experience with non-profit organizations Hear Québec is proud of its diverse, committed, focused and respectful staff and volunteers.

As a largely “invisible” disability, there are many “myths” and misconceptions about hearing loss.
