• Conduct prospect research and identify potential leads
• Qualify leads and build rapport through various channels (phone, email etc)
• Assist with developing and maintaining accurate customer records in CRM systems
• Participate in sales calls and meetings (shadowing and potentially taking on a co-pilot role)
• Research competitor offerings and market trends
• Assist with administrative tasks as needed
• Conduct research on potential clients and industries to identify business opportunities and generate Leads
• Participate in sales meetings and presentations with potential clients
• Support the sales team in managing and maintaining customer relationships
• Work with the sales team to meet or exceed sales targets and quotas.
• Assist with administrative tasks related to sales, such as scheduling meetings and preparing sales materials
• Learn about the sales process and techniques used in the tech industry
• Contribute to a positive and collaborative team environment.
Requirements
• Analytical and problem-solving skills
• Ability to prioritise tasks and manage time effectively
• Comfortable with technology and ability to quickly learn new tools and software
• Basic knowledge of sales techniques and principles
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
• Proficiency in Google Suite applications
• Knowledge of the Tech ecosystem in Africa.
