Residential Drywall Estimator

Job Description

We are partnered with a Drywall Contractor who has been in business 35+ years located in the NE Phoenix, AZ area and are looking for a Residential Drywall Estimator to join their team!Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

Generating material assessments and labor estimates for new designs, elevations, and alterations.

Supplying Sub-Contractors with necessary details (blueprints, standards, etc.) for bid submission.

Evaluating and negotiating labor bids and unit prices to secure the most cost-effective rates from vendors and contractors.

Updating various databases, such as item codes, costs, takeoffs, contracts, and square footage.

Computing retail prices for plan and standard options.

Approving budgets and takeoffs for all prototypes, ensuring alignment with plans and accurate material installation.

Investigating discrepancies in variances, purchase orders, and invoices, and notifying builders of any budget adjustments.

Reviewing and correcting labor budgets to ensure accuracy in start packages.

Maintaining construction and estimating standards for assigned cost codes and distributing revisions to relevant parties.

Position is onsite + flex hours

Salary: $78,000 - $88,400 DOE + Health/Dental Benefits + 401k
