Are you looking for a pivotal role as a full-time Petroleum Compliance Technician covering Central Maine, with a focus on serving customers across the region from our Lewiston office? At Simard and Sons Inc, you'll leverage your industry knowledge to ensure regulatory compliance of fuel systems through meticulous inspections and testing. A DAY IN THE LIFE OF A PETROLEUM COMPLIANCE TECHNICIAN

As a Petroleum Compliance Technician, you'll enjoy a full-time schedule from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with some flexibility depending on your workload and personal needs. Your responsibilities will include conducting inspections of underground tanks at gas stations, marinas, and bulk storage facilities, ensuring compliance with regulations, accurately documenting findings, and utilizing specialized equipment for testing purposes. You'll work alongside a supportive management team and fellow associates who prioritize honest communication and uphold strong core values.

QUALIFICATIONS

Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Compliance Technician and Underground Storage Tank Inspector

Certification as a Maine DEP Storage Tank Installer

Valid driver's license

Veeder-Root ATG Technician or other relevant petroleum equipment certifications are a plus but are not required for the position.
