As the EHS Specialist job responsibilities include, but are not limited to, the following:

Ensure compliance with all company, OSHA, Federal, State, and local regulations

Create and maintain EHS programs

Assist in identifying and addressing plant hazards

Track and document EHS related information

Investigate site incidents and ensure corrective action plans

Manage EHS related permits and reporting

As the EHS Specialist job requirements consist of, but are not limited to, the following:

Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Health and Safety, Industrial Hygiene, Chemistry, or another science related field

1+ years of EHS experience

Previous in experience in a food and/or chemical manufacturing environment

Familiarity with current safety and environmental standards, rules, and regulations
