A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Global Financial Analyst within our IdentiGEN Animal Health Division based in Blackrock, Dublin. The individual must have confidence and skills to communicate to a variety of audience and ability to simplify complex issues. He or she will need to have the ability to understand multiple local contexts, as well to connect, build relationships and collaborate with multiple stakeholders in a fast-paced environment. The successful candidate must be able to roll-up their sleeves and dive deep into data to drive meaningful analysis, reports, and presentations for management.

Our Global Finance team act as a trusted advisor and consultant to management on business strategies and operational decisions

We’re looking for an experienced and motivated person to execute end-to-end Planning & Forecasting and Analysis processes of the global IdentiGEN/ DataLabs business within Animal Health.

What you will do:

Bring energy, knowledge, innovation and leadership to carry out the following key areas:

Planning cycles: Support the Finance Business Partner in forecasting across the year. Working with colleagues across multiple countries, collate and plan and report in collaboration with the wider business.

Build robust relationships across both the DataLabs Team, the Business Support Centre (BSC), and the local Accounting to Reporting team, and FPA Teams in countries where DataLabs costs lie to ensure seamless FP&A support to the business.

Provide reports to business leaders that include insightful variance / trend analysis to support decision making.

Support month end revenue recognition (sales cut off, Accrued Revenue, Deferred Revenue) entries accurately and timely to facilitate the month end close. Ensure all entries reviewed with finance leadership and documented.

Build robust relationships across both the DataLabs Team, the Business Support Centre (BSC), and the local Accounting to Reporting team, to ensure seamless FP&A support to the business.

Liaise with the local and BSC A&TP (Accounting & Tax Planning) teams to ensure actual results are understood and reflect the true position of the business.

Liaise with BSC and local commercial teams to ensure compliance and efficient resolution of any credit related issues.

Profitability analysis on the Product Portfolio with a manufacturing focus.

What skills you will need:

To excel in this role, you will more than likely have:

Hold a Qualified Accountant accreditation.

Minimum of 5 years’ experience in accounting.

Qualified Accountant with 3 or more years PQE including a FP&A role.

Excellent communication skills, able to influence and create rapport at all levels of the organisation.

Highly PC literate, SAP experience desirable and advanced knowledge of Excel modelling.

Good partnership and relationship building skillset.

Ability to respond to changing priorities.
