We are looking for an experienced IoT Engineer to oversee the development and implementation of IoT projects for our company. The IoT Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and deploy IoT solutions that meet the needs of our clients. The incumbent will be responsible for designing and configuring IoT devices and networks, developing software for IoT applications, and analyzing and interpreting data from IoT devices.

AREA OF RESPONSIBILITIES

Research and Implement IoT infrastructure

Experience with mesh network or sensor network and communication

Solid working knowledge using IoT hardware platforms, communication boards, and gateways

Hands-on in internet protocols and software development using protocols including LoRA, Wi-Fi, BLE, ZigBee, NB-IoT, M2M,6LoWPAN, Ethernet etc.

Strong hands-on understanding of scalability, security, high availability, and operational requirements

Develop and deploy IoT devices and networks that meet client requirements

Develop software for IoT applications, including data collection, analysis, and reporting

Analyze and interpret data from IoT devices to identify trends and insights

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and test IoT solutions

Configure and troubleshoot IoT devices and networks to ensure optimal performance

Research and stay up-to-date on new IoT technologies, platforms, and trends

Develop documentation, including technical specifications, system diagrams, and user manuals

Ensure data security and compliance with privacy regulations

Collaborate with clients to understand their needs and provide customized IoT solutions.

Create and develop devices, sensors, and software that allows the devices to connect seamlessly with other systems.

Research, create, test, and document IoT solutions with integrated systems and devices

Design, code, and test features of IoT devices

Develop with platform solutions that are cloud-compatible and work with IoT applications.

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or related field • 1+ years of experience in IoT design, development, and implementation • Experience with IoT architectures, protocols, and systems, including IoT cloud platforms such as AWS IoT, Azure IoT, or Google IoT • Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, Java, C++, or other relevant languages • Experience with data analysis and visualization tools such as Tableau, PowerBI, or Excel • Experience with wireless communication protocols such as Bluetooth, ZigBee, Wi-Fi, and cellular technologies • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment • Ability to manage and prioritize multiple projects simultaneously
