ITility offers a robust summer internship program designed to provide a meaningful, professional work experience for full-time college students. This program is specially designed to offer interns insights into various industries, helping them develop valuable skills and expand their professional networks. Interns at ITility engage in sectors such as power, gas, renewable energy, and distributed resources, with special projects focusing on anaerobic digestion processes.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities:

Conduct advanced quantitative and economic analysis of energy and environmental markets.

Participate in the development and refinement of ITility’s analytical models and databases.

Assess the impact of regulatory changes and assist in strategizing client responses to these changes.

Support the preparation of analytical reports and client deliverables.

Aid in market research, proposal writing, and the development of thought leadership materials to support sales and client development efforts.

Assist with scientific and engineering aspects of anaerobic digestion, including process optimization and technological assessments.

Engage in physical labor tasks related to the setup, maintenance, and monitoring of anaerobic digestion facilities or other relevant project sites, providing practical, hands-on experience.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor's degree program in Economics, Mathematics, Business, Operations Research, Engineering, or a related field. Students from other disciplines must demonstrate equivalent quantitative skills.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office and familiarity with basic software tools.

A strong interest in and passion for the dynamics of the energy sector, particularly renewable energy technologies like anaerobic digestion.

Keen on pursuing a long-term career within the energy industry.

Excellent problem-solving skills and a passion for tackling complex issues.

High level of intellectual curiosity and motivation to learn beyond the standard job requirements.

Ability to comprehend technical concepts and effectively communicate them to a diverse audience.

Outstanding organizational and project management abilities.

Exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Detail-oriented with the ability to work under tight deadlines in a dynamic environment.

Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.

Physically capable of performing tasks that may require lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
