The Inventory Optimization & Demand Planning Manager is suitable for an experienced Merchandiser Manager / Head with a proven track record of managing the end-to-end trading lifecycle of the product. The Manager of DP&IO will be the leader of the Planning & Allocation department that oversees all aspects of the following in-season trading processes: Demand Planning, trading, weekly replenishment, and initial allocation.

The role is accountable for setting and delivering the trading strategy across all Pandora Channels. Responsible for driving the continual improvement of departmental processes and strategy ensuring continued team development, whilst optimizing sales performance and inventory levels.

Your Role as Inventory Optimization & Demand Planning Manager:

Accountable for our demand plans and the continuous development of this in line with how the business evolves.

Accountable for monthly rolling forecasting of jewelry

Accountability for the targeted forecast accuracy

Responsible for conducting weekly performance reviews through demand reviews and cross-functional weekly fora.

Responsible for cross-functional collaboration across Merchandising, Sales, VM, and Global I&D to ensure alignment and drive actions for closing potential gaps.

Responsible for the allocation of jewelry to stores & E-commerce and ensure that it is done in a structured and timely way.

Accountable for the on-shelf availability in stores as well as E-commerce locations

Accountable for the Maintenance of Aptos/Aptean allocation parameters and functionality

Accountable for the alignment between Aptos/Aptean allocation forecast & Demand plans.

Manage and develop the I&DP team

What is needed to succeed:

+5 years of solid experience working within Demand Planning, Supply Planning and/or Merchandise Planning, Inventory & Allocation Planning

Experience from retail, fashion or FMCG industry a plus

Experience from a global organization

Strong analytical and presentation skills

Detailed understanding of the critical path of information flow and data analysis at expert level.

Excellent communication in English and Spanish

Super user in Office incl. Excel and PowerPoint.

Demand Planning in Logility or similar planning system, Aptos allocation or allocation system background.

Knowledge of Power BI.
