Job Title: Clinical Psychologist

Location: Santa Ana, CA

Pay: $74-83/hr.

Schedule: Mondays - Fridays 8:30 am - 5:30 pm;

?Must be able to work weekends, evenings/night shifts, and holidays

About Us:

Correctional institution committed to rehabilitation, safety, and fostering positive change. We are currently seeking a dedicated and experienced Clinical Psychologist to join our team in providing essential mental health services to our inmate population.

Responsibilities:

Conduct comprehensive psychological assessments of inmates to identify mental health needs and develop appropriate treatment plans.

Provide individual and group therapy to address a range of mental health issues, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance abuse.

Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure integrated care and effective communication regarding inmates' mental health treatment.

Offer crisis intervention services and participate in emergency response procedures as needed.

Maintain accurate and up-to-date clinical documentation in accordance with facility and licensing standards.

Facilitate psychoeducational programs to enhance inmates' coping skills and promote positive behavioral change.

Contribute to the development and implementation of mental health policies and procedures within the correctional facility.

Qualifications:

Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.

Current state licensure as a Clinical Psychologist.

Minimum of 3 years of post-licensure experience, preferably in a correctional or forensic setting.

Strong assessment and diagnostic skills.

Experience with evidence-based therapeutic interventions.

Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Knowledge of relevant laws, regulations, and ethical standards governing mental health services in correctional settings.
