About the department

As a Tax and Accounting Specialist, you will be an integral part of the Accounting & Tax Center of Excellence (COE), focusing on managing accounting and tax requirements specific to the Philippines. You will be joining a team devoted to ensuring accurate financial reporting and compliance with regulatory standards. The position

As a Tax and Accounting Specialist at Novo Nordisk, you will perform the following (but not limited to) duties and responsibilities:

Ensure accurate financial reporting according to corporate and local accounting guidelines.

Maintain compliance with Novo Nordisk values and local laws.

Prepare and submit Statutory Withholding Taxes and Value Added Tax Reports in a timely manner.

Assist in securing a strong financial control environment through efficient internal controls and procedures.

Support the Accounting and Tax Manager with any tax-related matters.

Contribute to the COE team’s success through knowledge sharing and engagement.

Drive standardization and efficiency across processes.

Provide ad hoc support to local accounting and tax functions.

To be successful in this role, you should have:

A Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or a related field.

Strong accounting and/or tax knowledge with at least 3 years of relevant experience.

Hands-on experience with month-end reporting, local statutory reporting, and tax submissions to local authorities.

Strong teamwork skills and the ability to collaborate effectively.

Proficiency in SAP, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint (advantageous).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
