Staff Accountant

Pollo Regio Corporate Office is currently looking out for suitable candidates for our Accounting team for the position of Staff Accountant.

Responsibilities

Assists in maintaining financial records

Ensures that financial transactions are properly recorded

Maintains, analyzes, and reconciles general ledger accounts including bank accounts

Analyzes and summarizes financial information

Provides inputs into department’s goal-setting process

Prepares financial statements and assists in budget preparation

Supports month-end and year-end closing process

Develops and documents business processes and accounting policies to maintain and strengthen internal controls

Ensures compliance with GAAP principles

Liaises with CFO and Controller to improve financial procedures and processes

Manages accounting projects when needed

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Accounting

2 to 5 years experience in Accounting

Attention to detail

Mathematical aptitude

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Knowledge of GAAP

Proficiency in MS Office and sound knowledge in Pivot Tables, Xlookup and other Excel functions

Experience in working with accounting software (Oracle Netsuite preferred)
