Company Description

The Luke Clinic is a Christian ministry providing free prenatal, postpartum, and infant (birth to 12 months) care. We are based in Whitmore Lake but run a clinic in South West Detroit. Our clinic is open two days a month (the 1st and 3rd Thursdays) - the rest of the work is done at the Whitmore Lake office. We have a mobile clinic that sees patients between clinic days. We are a group of staff and volunteers - some are Christian, some are not. We all come together because we want to make a difference in the lives of our patients.

We see a variety of vulnerable patients who have little or no access to medical care due to their lack of income, insurance, immigration status, religion, etc. Our work is rewarding but takes great patience and dedication as we are working to help physically, socially, and emotionally vulnerable patients.

We are a small team, and we can provide a supportive and flexible working environment. We prioritize staff appreciation and seek support for our staff's family and life choices. Not everyone who works with us is Christian, but you do need to be comfortable in a Christian environment.
