Job Summary:

We are searching for energetic and compassionate teachers who enjoy working with 1-year olds.

As a teacher, you will be responsible for overseeing daily activities, developing lesson plans, promoting social development, and maintaining a clean, organized, and positive learning environment.

Work Schedule:

We have full-time positions available.

Full Time positions available are Monday-Friday from 7:00 am to 3:30 pm with a 30-minute lunch break.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement age-appropriate learning activities and lesson plans, helping to promote cognitive, physical, and social development.

Supervise, maintain and provide a clean, safe, and nurturing learning environment.

Assist in managing classroom behavior and ensuring children follow established routines for meals, playtime, naps, and other activities.

Establish positive relationships with parents and caregivers and maintain open lines of communication to provide regular updates on children's progress.

Conduct regular assessments and maintain accurate records of children's development, progress, and milestones.

Attend staff meetings and participate in professional development opportunities to stay up-to-date on childcare and teaching best practices.

Ensure all licensing and safety requirements are met, including those set by state and federal laws, and company policies.

Requirements:

High school diploma or equivalent, must be at least 18 years of age

EDU 119 (NC Early Childhood Education Credentials) College coursework or degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred.

Previous experience working in a childcare setting.

Knowledge of child development, positive discipline, and age-appropriate learning strategies.

Ability to communicate effectively with adults and children, both verbally and in writing. Must be able to pass a background check.

Ability to work in a team-oriented environment and manage multiple priorities.

Salary/Benefits:

Salary is based on length of previous experience working in a childcare or daycare setting and level of education. Pay starts at $15 per hour and is adjusted based on education level and years of experience.
