Responsibilities:

Responsible for performing all aspects of Electrical or Instrumentation Maintenance throughout the plant safely & effectively

Provide insight on process improvement opportunities and work with Maintenance Management to accomplish established goals.

Utilize mechanical skills as required that include, but are not limited to, mechanical, pneumatic, and hydraulic troubleshooting and repair.

Troubleshooting equipment by tracing control and machine circuits to identify points of failure and logically replace components.

Provide insight on process improvement opportunities and work with Maintenance Management to accomplish established goals.

Inform the Maintenance Manager of any operator-related actions, such as inadequate training or unsafe work practices that increase the risk of maintenance problems and/or lost production downtime.

Communicate and work remotely with OEM Technical Services to troubleshoot any issues that cannot be resolved internally.

Ensure scheduled maintenance activities performed on equipment meet or exceed the manufacturer’s requirements for quality and reliability.

Ensure manufacturer warranties remain effective by adhering to necessary safeguards and guidelines.

Use ERP software to generate work orders to track used inventory for subsequent disposition by the Maintenance Planner.

Communicate with production team members concerning equipment-related issues and timeliness of repair work.

Ensure compliance with OSHA and Company safety rules and regulations; communicate as appropriate.

Adhere to Company policy and procedure.

Report into Maintenance Supervisor

Requirements:

Minimum 5 years’ experience in a high-speed manufacturing environment.

Practical experience with low voltage control power (12-24VDC) and high voltage machine power (120/277/480VAC) is required.

Ability to climb, stoop, and bend on a continuous basis; 40-pound minimum lifting.

Intermediate computer skills. Fundamental PLC knowledge and skills.

Ability to functionally use troubleshooting tools as required (multimeter, electrical schematics, machine diagrams, VFD, Servi Drives and Motors, DCS.

Familiarity with functionality and design of sensors, safety circuits, motors, drives, relays, contactors, and machine networking.

Some mechanical skills are required as necessary (troubleshooting and repair work).

High School/GED/Technical School Training required.

Demonstrate understanding of OSHA requirements.

Ability and Willingness to wear all necessary PPE.

Pay Details: $27.00 to $33.00 per hour
