Job Summary

The Production Control Coordinator will coordinate the movement of material between departments and work areas. This position is responsible for the communication of expedited orders within departments, ensuring accurate records and tracking is maintained for work orders.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBLITIES

Coordinates the movement of material in and out of the department.

Coordinates rework within the department.

Will communicate work orders to team members by work center.

Follow through with first articles work orders.

Make corrections to on hand inventory via SMT submittals.

Expedite material needed within the department

Un-issues material from work orders.

Adhere to general housekeeping rules and maintenance schedule of work center.

Adheres to and be a champion for all safety rules and requirements.

Performs other duties as required.

MINIMUM REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Educations and/or Experience

High School diploma or GED is required

1-year experience working in data entry

SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE, AND ABILITIES

Ability to coordinate multiple tasks simultaneously

Ability to read work instructions / orders

Ability to follow pre-established processes and procedures

Ability to perform on the job training

Ability to communicate with others

Ability to work in a team and as individual contributor

Ability to learn different processes and procedures in short period of time

Computer Skills

Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel)

Language Skills

English (reading, writing, verbal)

Mathematical Skills

Basic math skills (add, subtract, divide, multiply)

Other Skills

Ability to work all shifts, including weekends and holiday hours.

Ability to legally work without sponsorship for employment visa status.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

While performing the duties of this job, the employee uses his/her hands to finger, handle or feel objects, tools or controls; reach with hands and arms; stop, kneel, or crouch; talk or hear. The employee uses computer or telephone equipment. Specific vision abilities required by this job include vision and ability to adjust focus. Able to sit or stand for frequent periods in the same location with some opportunity for movement. This position requires the ability to occasionally lift office products and supplies, up to 20 pounds.

WORK ENVIRONMENT

While performing the duties of this job, the employee will work in an office environment or enclosed office space; and can be exposed to a warehouse environment on a frequent basis. The ambient conditions are moderate, and the noise level in the work environment is moderate.
