Position Description

The Service Technician plays a critical role in the environmental compliance efforts of our clients. Service Technicians maintain and repair all refueling equipment for the petroleum industry, as well as commercial and municipal refueling facilities, marinas, and airports. The Technician will ensure that state and local regulatory directives regarding storage and monitoring systems are met. He or she will work closely with client personnel as a company representative, perform maintenance, and troubleshooting without direct supervision. The Service Technician will serve as the eyes and ears of our clients identifying and documenting all compliant and any observed non-compliant issues. Minimum Qualifications

Experience with UST/AST monitoring and fuel system service station maintenance equipment is required.

ICC UST Service Technician

Veeder Root TLS-3XX Technician or Veeder Root ATG

Must have good electrical and mechanical aptitude, as well as the ability to work and troubleshoot problems independently.

Should be able to understand and conform to complex regulatory requirements.

Must have excellent communication skills, basic knowledge of computer systems, and an eye for detail.

A valid California Driver’s License and good driving record is required.

Successful applicants must pass a background check, as well as a physical examination and drug screening test.

A valid California Driver’s License, good driving record, and reliable transportation is required. Essential Duties & Responsibilities

The Service Technician will function in a position of high visibility both internal and external to the company.

Perform required Monitoring Certification, Secondary Containment, Spill Bucket testing, and vapor recovery testing per state regulatory requirements.

Drive company work truck to client job sites, up to 100 miles per day.

Occasional out-of-town stay is required.

Requires submittal of daily work order and project associated paperwork.

Additional duties as assigned.

Salary and Benefits

Salary range for position: $20/hr - $40/hr
