Grinder/Fitter

We are seeking dedicated individuals for new Grinder/Fitter positions in the Port Hope area.

In this role, successful candidates will be grinding with specialized equipment to deburr and smooth products.

Candidates must be able to work rotating shifts of Days, Afternoons, and Mid-nights, while tackling physically demanding tasks.

Control vibrating equipment, handle materials with precision, and maintain high standards of quality and safety.

Grinder/Fitter Responsibilities: Utilizing a grinder to deburr and smooth products produced in our facility.

Control and manipulate vibrating equipment continuously Utilize lifting devices and cranes to move castings weighing an average of 85lbs Check product quality using jig gauges and template fittings Other duties as required Grinder/Fitter Requirements: Strong physical stamina and endurance Ability to control and manipulate vibrating equipment for extended periods, maintaining accuracy and precision.

Proficiency in using lifting devices and cranes for material handling tasks.

Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining high-quality standards in all aspects of work.

Comfortable wearing full-body gear, including coveralls and a face shield/helmet.

No colour blindness to accurately assess product quality and perform job duties effectively.
