We are seeking an experienced staff to support a federal agency by providing support for Circular OMB A-123 and other Federal Financial Management activities, including performing detailed improper payment risk assessments and performing internal control testing. The resource will be working directly with a Supervisor to accomplish assigned tasks as well as a large overall team dedicated to the client.

What will you do in this role:

Execute improper payment risk assessments and other similar activities under the guidance of leadership.

Draft narratives and flowcharts for financial management process areas.

Draft test plans that tie to the controls identified in the narratives and flowcharts.

Perform internal control testing as directed by management.

Draft summaries of deficiencies and corrective action plans.

Draft presentations and briefings to assist clients to improve internal controls.

Your qualifications:

Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or related business field from an accredited University.

Minimum of 1 year of experience performing testing of controls as part of financial statement audits or OMB Circular A-123/Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) requirements.

Security Clearance: Must be able to pass a basic government suitability check (US Citizenship required).

Strong analytical and organizational skills.

Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).

Strong commitment to quality and integrity.
