The Veeam Quality Assurance Department invites you to work on Veeam products with Veeam QA professionals in the Lisbon R&D office. We are looking for enthusiasts who are ready for challenges and complex tasks, and who can help us achieve new levels of scalability for our products.

Your tasks will include:
Analyzing, refining and coordinating performance requirements
Setting up and maintaining test environments
Monitoring of test stands and identifying anomalies and issues
Executing performance test cases and recording the results
Conducting in-depth analysis of performance issues, identifying and resolving bottlenecks (CPU, RAM, Disks, Network, OS, DB, Processes, Logic and so on)
Documenting identified issues and communicating with other departments to resolve them
Handling performance and scalability-related customer support tickets
What we expect from you:
Experience in system administration area
Basic knowledge of network technologies
Ability to design test cases
Experience in researching issues using logs, monitoring, and database analysis
Basic automation experience (Python, PowerShell, etc.)
Common knowledge of hardware and its typical problems
English proficiency level sufficient to communicate with international teams

Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, and other cloud platforms
Microsoft SQL Server, PostgreSQL
Windows family operating systems
Various Linux distributions, both RPM- and DEB-based

Monitoring tools: Grafana, VictoriaMetrics, MS SQL Query Store, pganalyze, Sysinternals Tools
Programming and scripting languages: PowerShell, Python
Automation tools: Ansible, Terraform
CI/CD: Jenkins
