The SECO Labor Directorate is part of the federal competence center for all core issues of labor market policy and unemployment insurance.

The Labor Market/Unemployment Insurance (ALV) service area is responsible for the Unemployment Insurance Act, the public employment service and the labor market statistics.

As part of the IT department, the group is responsible for IT governance, IT risk and compliance management, IT service management and various cross-sectional functions for the application landscape of public employment services, unemployment insurance and labor market statistics with around 6,000 internal employees and over 50,000 external users.

The central task is IT control using architecture and IT security management.

The group has a key role in future-oriented and secure digitalization in the coming years.

Your tasks Optimize the ALV data architecture and its documentation Enforce quality standards, plan and carry out data structure reviews Support and advise on data architecture projects with guidelines, principles, reference models and architectures Support projects relating to data architectures, in particular the discovery and use of synergy potential Ensure and further develop data processing in accordance with the new data protection law your profile Higher education in the field of (business) computer science or comparable training (HF, FH, university) Excellent know-how of architectural development methods e.g.

TOGAF as well as experience in modeling notation (UML, BPMN) Good knowledge of project management methods including agile methods (HERMES, Scrum, Kanban); conceptually and editorially strong, as well as very good analytical and networked thinking Proven experience in implementing data protection guidelines in projects Open personality, good communicator appropriate to the level, high customer and service orientation We require a very good knowledge of two official languages.

Knowledge of the third official language is desirable.
