Job Description

Do you have a passion for the design and testing of software applications? We’re hiring an R&D Engineer II-Software for our company’s headquarters in Bridgeton, Missouri. If you possess:

Experience in the design and testing of software applications.

The ability to design and develop source code for software applicants and plan integration.

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science

As an R&D Engineer II-Software:

What you will do:

Develop source code in C#.

Maintain and enhance existing relational databases.

Optimize data storage and retrieval processes.

Interface with other departments to determine and meet project requirements.

Additional Qualifications Include:

Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science required.

7+ years of professional software development experience

Strong knowledge of Microsoft SQL Server

Experience developing and updating stored procedures.

Comfort in developing with Git, coding standards, and code reviews.

Strong interest in emerging technologies

Preferred Experience and Skills:

Advanced SQL development and performance tuning

Experience with SSRS

Experience running database metrics and monitoring tools.

Experience designing and maintaining Data Warehouse solutions.

Recent development experience with Microsoft Azure cloud technologies, such as Azure web applications, App Services, Blob Storage, Functions, etc., is a plus.
