We serve approximately 675 students from the Portland Metro area. Job Summary
Serve as the first impression of La Salle Catholic College Preparatory, developing and maintaining positive relationships with prospective families and community partners
Coordinate the Falcon for a Day shadow visit program
Coordinate events that primarily target the younger prospective student audience
Manage the Summer Camp Program
Support a variety of admissions events
Provide administrative support and help maintain the Admissions database
Essential Duties include but are not limited to the following:
Program Operations/Management
Host campus tours
Coordinate the Falcon for a Day shadow visit program:
Manage visit sign-up forms and confirmation emails
Select student Ambassadors and send all communications
Check-in/check-out visitors daily
Follow-up with prospective families
Coordinate the Summer Camp Program:
Partner with coaches and select instructors to determine summer camp offerings for elementary and middle school students
Serve as primary contact by responding to family inquiries
Oversee curriculum development and supplies spending
Facilitate recruitment, training, and onboarding for staff and volunteers
Update and report to Admissions Director on camp marketing, registration, and budget
Coordinate with Admissions team to offer admissions touchpoint for each camp
Collaborate with Marketing and Communications for advertising and website/registration pages
Manage camp budget and report profits to Finance Director
Manage all camp operations throughout summer, including check-in and check-out of campers and (as needed) support of leaders/counselors
Maintain, organize, and analyze yearly data, including an annual report summarizing the effectiveness of SCP and recommendations for improvement.
Collaborate with Admissions team to support the Ambassador Program, including preparing ambassador application materials & coordinating ambassador interview and selection process
Event Coordination & Support
Plan and execute Admissions Events which frequently include younger students: seasonal sports nights (Future Falcon Nights) and theater performance (Grade School Musical Matinee)
Support the following admissions events: Open House, High School Placement Test, La Salle Info Night, Welcome Night, Flock Fest
Support outreach efforts as a representative of La Salle at high school info nights or other community partnership opportunities
Admin Support
Maintain admissions database in SchoolAdmin (aka FinalSite Enrollment):
Respond to questions from prospective families and record notes in the database
Set up event registrations in SchoolAdmin, including related auto-reminder emails
Track progress of incoming application/enrollment materials from applicants and request missing information
Create, maintain and produce reports, queries, and mailing lists as needed
Uphold strict level of confidentiality regarding personal and academic information stored in the database.
Collaborate with Admissions team, as needed, to:
Plan and participate in all admissions activities and events throughout the year
Design graphic projects in Canva
Edit Admissions e-newsletter or social media posts
Qualifications and Experience
Bachelor’s degree and 1-3 years of relevant work experience in education, admissions, events, marketing, or other related fields
Experience with planning events, managing programs with daily operations, and supervising volunteers
Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint) and Google Suite products
Ability to work evenings and weekends
Skills
Excellent oral and written communication skills; ability to speak and present in public settings
Ability to effectively collaborate within a team environment to ensure the success of current responsibilities as well as long-term strategic goals.
Exceptional organization with an ability to self-manage multiple projects and multitask to meet deadlines
Adept at working with a variety of audiences including faculty, staff, administration, and prospective/current parents and students
