Attorney

Georgia Probate Law Group is looking for an experienced Tennessee Probate Attorney to join our team. The attorney in this position will handle estate and trust litigation cases, as well as estate administration matters. As a result, the attorney candidate must have strong litigation experience to be successful.

We work on complex fiduciary litigation. So, if you are the type of attorney that enjoys creative problem-solving in a complex area of the law where you are continually learning new things and seeing new factual situations, you will enjoy this position.

Our attorneys focus on doing their best work and winning for our clients, and do not have marketing or business development responsibilities.

We value flexibility and have annual billable hours requirement of 1,550 hours. Our attorneys enjoy the ability to work from home or from the office as much as they would like.

Since we work directly for family members of the deceased, the attorney is in a position to make a real impact on real people. That said, the most difficult aspect of our practice is the inevitable emotional ups and downs our clients experience. Client emotions can run high at time, so having the ability to care about the case while emotionally detaching is an important skill for the attorney to have.

Experience and Growth

This position is an expansion position to open an office in Tennessee for our firm. As a result, the attorney in this position should have deep experience in estate and trust litigation. The attorney should also have an eagerness to teach other attorneys as we expand our presence in Tennessee.

Requirements

To be considered for the position, the candidate must meet the following qualifications:

Attorney licensed to practice law in Tennessee

10+ years in practice

10 or more years of experience in civil litigation, including setting strategy and handling cases start to finish

Excellent independent creative problem-solving skills

Goal-oriented personality with a will to win and a focus on achieving results for clients

Excellent writing skills

Excellent customer service skills
