Patent Attorney/ Agent- Mechanical Technologies

Our current opening is focused on securing patent protection and providing relevant strategic counsel. Our clients include high-technology corporations with advancements a variety of industries including aerospace, automotive, telecommunications, and home appliances.

Position Details:

· Partner with the D&M team and in-house counsel to develop and execute thoughtful and effective global IP strategies.

· Draft and prosecute patent applications.

· Draft opinions of counsel.

· Conduct due diligence investigations and perform freedom-to-operate and landscape analyses.

· Opportunities for strategic counseling through client-facing interactions.

Qualifications

· A degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Physics Engineering, or related fields of study and/or relevant experience.

· Must be admitted to practice before the USPTO.

· Minimum of 2 years of patent drafting and prosecution experience required.
