Rebar Estimator

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role as a Rebar Estimator at GC REBAR located in Porter, TX. As a Rebar Estimator, you will be responsible for estimating the quantity and cost of rebar materials for construction projects. You will collaborate with project managers, engineers, and clients to analyze project plans, specifications, and requirements. Additionally, you will prepare accurate and detailed cost estimates, review drawings and blueprints, and provide recommendations for optimizing rebar placements.

Qualifications

Strong understanding of structural engineering principles and construction practices

Proficiency in using rebar estimating software and tools

Excellent mathematical and analytical skills

Detail-oriented with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines

Good communication and interpersonal skills

Experience in the construction industry or rebar fabrication is preferred
