Category Analyst

Provides support to Kroger Fresh Kitchen Network Optimization Team as well as the Taylor Farms Kroger National Team. The Category Analyst will have tasks assigned by Kroger, which will consume 60% of the analyst’s time. The remaining 40% of time will be dedicated to Taylor Farms. The analyst will assist both companies in achieving their financial goals, establishing new business, and improving current business.

Taylor Farms Specific Responsibilities/ Duties

with the National Team to establish sales growth goals in all areas of business.

performance scorecard.

EDI issue updates.

store issues and costing discrepancies.

GO Fresh Kitchen and Taylor Farms National Team meetings as needed.

Kroger Fresh Kitchen Specific Responsibilities/ Duties

weekly/period analysis of sales, margin, shrink, credits, and contribution by Fresh Kitchen/division.

opportunities for optimization and provide recommendations for improvement.

Item Setup & Technical support for Fresh Network assortment changes to ensure items are set up fully for a successful launch.

all store ordering/receiving issues within timely manner.

review/tracking of Fresh Kitchen fill rates. Provide summary per period.

review of EDI reports, facilitate reconciliation as needed.

master assortment file (all commodities), keeping it updated with current item information for all Kroger Fresh Network partners (i.e., set up new items with cost, category assortment changes, divisions carrying the item, weight, package count)

data points from various systems for recommended outcome or resolution path.

as a backup to the existing Produce Analyst

write-ups for programs and special events.

the development, implementation, maintenance, and ongoing improvement of the Fresh Network implementation process (including tracking tool enhancements)

established programs, policies, and practices to produce safe, quality foods that meet regulatory and company requirements.

to the Kroger Manufacturing Food Safety and Quality Principles
