What your day will look like:

Managing the entire sales process from start to finish

Developing new customers and strategies for increasing sales with new and existing customers

Reviewing customer RFPs with other departments to ensure quotes meet customer requirements

Developing sales presentations tailored to individual customer requirements

Establishing and maintaining relationships with senior buyers, engineers and key decision makers

Identifying new areas of growth and developing strategies to achieve sales goals for assigned territories and accounts

Analyzing and identifying opportunities to secure new client business

Visiting customers to develop close relationships with the key sales decision makers

Cold calling and following up on all assigned leads and entering results in assigned software system

Traveling domestically and internationally to customer locations as needed

What we are looking for:

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, Mathematics or Science

4+ years of Account Management experience

Previous knowledge in Capital Equipment Sales, Machine Tool Sales or Industrial Automation Sales preferred

Mechanical aptitude or machine automation experience

Strong negotiating skills

Up to 80% travel required once trained
