Informatica Power Center Consultant( Shell scripting)

Position – Informatica Power Center Consultant

Location – Dallas, TX ( Day 1 onsite)

Duration – 6 months

Visa Preference – USC/ GC/ H4 EAD’s, L2 EAD

Position Overview:

As a Senior Informatica PowerCenter Consultant, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Informatica PowerCenter along with proficient shell scripting skills. This is an onsite position based in Dallas, TX.

Responsibilities:

Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements for data integration projects.

Design, develop, and implement data integration solutions using Informatica PowerCenter.

Develop and maintain shell scripts to automate data integration processes and system tasks.

Perform data analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues in data integration workflows.

Optimize performance of Informatica PowerCenter workflows and shell scripts.

Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members.

Stay current with industry trends and advancements in Informatica PowerCenter and related technologies.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.

10+ years of experience in Informatica PowerCenter development and administration.

Strong proficiency in shell scripting (Bash, Python, or similar).

Solid understanding of data warehousing concepts and ETL principles.

Experience working in a Unix/Linux environment.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team.

Informatica certification(s)
