About the Role:

As a Release Manager, you will play a critical role in overseeing the release management process to ensure the smooth and timely delivery of software products and updates.

You will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including development, quality assurance, operations, and project management to coordinate release activities and minimize risks.

Key Responsibilities:

Develop and maintain release management policies, processes, and procedures.

Coordinate release schedules and activities across multiple teams and environments.

Facilitate release planning meetings and provide guidance on release scope and timing.

Collaborate with development and QA teams to ensure that release packages meet quality standards.

Manage and collaborate with teams on release artifacts, including release notes, deployment scripts, and version control.

Communicate release status, issues, and risks to stakeholders and leadership.

Implement and maintain release automation tools and systems to streamline the release process.

Continuously improve release management practices to enhance efficiency and reliability.

Participate in post-release reviews and retrospectives to identify areas for improvement.

Minimum Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field or four years of comparable experience.

Proven experience in release management or related roles.

Strong understanding of software development lifecycle and release methodologies.

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Experience with Agile and DevOps practices is a plus.

Certification in release management (e.g., ITIL) is desirable but not required.

Location: Orlando, FL

Salary Range: The salary for this position is between $70,000 - $85,000 annually. Factors that may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

Benefits: The Company offers the following benefits for this position, subject to applicable eligibility requirements: Medical insurance, Dental insurance, Vision insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, long-term disability insurance, short-term disability insurance, and 5 personal days accrued each calendar year. The Paid time off benefits meets the paid sick and safe time laws that pertain to the City/ State, 10-15 days of paid vacation time, 6 paid holidays, and 1 floating holiday per calendar year, Ascendion Learning Management System.
