Our government client is looking for a Network Engineer to join their team.

Due to federal security clearance requirements, applicant must be a United States Citizen with the ability to obtain a Top Secret Clearance. We offer a great benefits package that includes Medical, Dental, and Vision benefits, 401k with company matching, and life insurance.

Pay Rate: $60.00 - $70.00/hr on W2

Skills, experience, and other compensable factors will be taken into account when determining pay rate. The pay range provided in this posting is a reflection of a W2 hourly rate; other employment options may be available that may result in pay outside of the provided pay range.

Responsibilities of the Network Engineer:

Setup, troubleshoot, and understand Border Gateway Protocol, Open Shortest Path First, and Dynamic Multipoint Virtual Private Network

Setup, troubleshoot, and understand Multicast, switch technologies, and Riverbed wide area network accelerators

Setup, troubleshoot, and understand Multi-Protocol Label Switching, Policy Based Routing, and Web Cache Communication Protocol

Setup, troubleshoot, and understand MPLS Layer 3 and Layer 2 VPN

Load IOSs on Cisco firewalls/IPSs

Setup, troubleshoot, and configure Cisco firewall/IPS configurations

Understand routing and traffic flows in the RHNs, and downrange assets

Setup, troubleshoot, and configure Cisco Security Manager, Palo Alto virtual firewalls, and Palo Alto’s Panorama firewall management tool

Setup, troubleshoot, and understand the VMware vSphere 6.0

Set up and operate KG-175D model TACLANEs and/or similar encryption devices

Requirements of the Network Engineer:

A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field

Active Secret Clearance

Basic understanding of tactical satellite equipment and understand its relationship to the greater network architecture

Commanding knowledge of the topics listed below or have the potential to master them in a reasonable timeframe

Excellent reasoning and troubleshooting skills enough to assist and guide problems to resolution over the phone

Excellent customer relations skills are also a must
