IT Business Support Analyst

RESPONSIBILITIES:
Act as a coordinator between IT, operations, and engineering about machine network connectivity and IoT applications
Serve as a liaison between the local business community and the broader IT organization, ensuring clear communication and alignment of IT initiatives with business objectives
Contribute to the execution of IT strategies and projects as local IT project manager in alignment with the specific needs of the local production site.
50% of your time will be spent providing technical support on hardware, software, and essential network support, including PCs, Laptops, printers, Windows, O365, and MS Office in a manufacturing environment
30% of the time is connecting and supporting IoT connectivity to manufacturing equipment
20% of the time working with the business as a liaison with IT and managing projects
Provide comprehensive technical support to a team of 50 associates
Setting up new docking stations and PCs
Daily review of system backups for local site and operating servers and network equipment (review and documentation)
Assist Network administrators with troubleshooting Network Connectivity, Server, and VoIP issues and maintaining correct Active Directory entries for desktops
Support of MS Office Suite, Outlook email applications on the desktop, and other company-endorsed desktop and mobile applications
First-level support for all non-SAP applications
Resolution of hardware and software problems related to desktop and mobile devices
Maintain incident and service tickets using ServiceNow
Maintain Configuration Items (CI) in Computer Management Database (CMDB)
Support production and office peripherals as needed
Maintenance and update of IoT device documentation relative to network components and login information
Maintenance of IoT and office device connections to the correct VLANs and networks.

REQUIRED SKILLS:
1+ years of technical support experience (hardware & software)
Windows networking experience
IoT connectivity and support experience
Project management and coordination experience
Experience working with the business to understand IT needs
Windows 10 experience
Office 365
Sharepoint
Experience imaging PCs and Laptops
DHCP, TCP/IP, VPN, DNS, and ADS
Knowledge of remote access technologies
Firewall appliances and network subnets
Solid technical documentation skills
Strong troubleshooting skills
Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment
