Role: GCP Infra Architect

Location (Onsite): Atlanta, GA

Technical/Functional Skills:

The main responsibility of this role is to technically lead a migration of infra from on-prem to a co-lo location of GCP. Experience of DC migration to GCP will be a must.

7+ years technology consulting and/or relevant industry experience

implementation experience with Google Cloud Platform (GCP)

knowledge of Google Cloud Platform

hosting an application on GCP using Compute Engine, App Engine, Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, Stack Driver, etc

principles and protocols such as IP subnetting, routing, firewall rules, Virtual Private Cloud, LoadBalancer, Cloud DNS, Cloud CDN, etc.

with Containerization i.e. GKE in GCP

on Google PaaS Services e.g Composer Services, Cloud SQL, Pub/Sub, Cloud Functions, Cloud Run, etc

and Containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes, GKE, EKS, ECS, etc)

in a modern scripting language (preferably Python) for automation of build tasks.

of linux/powershell scripting is must

with security and networking principles and design patterns

with agile development methods

communication and presentation skills
