Senior MySQL Developer

We are partnered with a brand-name hospitality client in Miami looking to bring on a Senior MySQL Developer role to their growing team!

Only candidates who are currently located in the Miami-Fort Lauderdale area will be considered.

This role will be onsite in Miami in beautiful new office space!

Roles & Responsibilities:

Sr. SQL Developer will be responsible for developing solutions and ad-hoc deliverables using the My SQL and Maria DB platforms.

Design SQL databases to support business applications, ensuring system scalability, security, performance, and reliability.

Develop database architectural strategies at the modeling, design, and implementation stages to address business requirements.

Develop advanced and optimized SQL stored procedures and functions.

Analyze existing SQL queries for performance improvements.

Develop data models for applications, metadata tables, views, or related database structures.

Stay up to date with latest trends and technologies in MySQL development.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

Minimum of 6 years of experience in the full life cycle of designing and developing databases and applications using MySQL.

Must have a strong understanding of relational database concepts, including database design, normalization and indexing.

Experience with version control such as Git, SVN

Knowledge of other database technologies such as Oracle or Postgres is a plus.
