Electrical Engineer

Job Title: Electrical Engineer V

Location: Redmond, WA (Onsite)

Duration: 12 Months

Job Responsibilities:

Create and edit schematics, collaborating with layout and component engineers to develop new PCBAs.

Prototype and evaluate digital, analog, and power circuits in a state-of-the-art lab environment.

Lead and participate in schematic and layout design reviews, ensuring adherence to high-quality standards.

Required Skills:

Proficiency in electrical assembly (printed circuit) design, encompassing architecture, component selection, DFM/DFA, schematic capture, and layout direction.

Experience devising test, validation, and bring-up plans.

Fluency in utilizing lab equipment such as oscilloscopes, DMMs, and soldering irons to bring up, control, and characterize designs.

Expertise with Cadence OrCAD CIS/CIP and Altium.

Knowledge of display and electro-optical components, including their operation.

In-depth understanding of flex, rigid-flex, and rigid assembly design rules and DFM.

Education/Experience:

Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering or related field required.

Minimum 5 years of experience in consumer electronics or a related field; 10 years preferred.
