Patent Attorney

Our client is seeking an experienced IP/Patent Attorney to join their team in the Middle East.

The role

Managing outside counsel in the preparation and prosecution of patent applications

Patent portfolio management

Providing IP education to clients on various IP-related topics

Providing legal advice in the areas of patent portfolio strategies

Draft and negotiate research and development agreements and IP licenses

Requirements

Undergraduate studies in chemical engineering or organic chemistry is highly desirable.

JD/LLM, Bar qualified US lawyer

At least 10 years' of experience in this field either in-house or private practice

Experience of working with clients in oil & gas or chemicals is preferable.

Please note this position is based full-time in Saudi Arabia and requires a full relocation.
