Senior associate - securities litigation

Leading investor-side securities litigation firm seeks a full-time senior associate with 5-7 years of experience to join our Chicago office. The right candidate will run securities class action litigations day-to-day. Responsibilities include: investigating claims, drafting amended complaints, briefing dispositive and class certification motions, arguing motions in federal court, and conducting written and deposition discovery. Competitive pay and benefits. Our team works together in the office (loop location) M-Th, Fridays are remote optional.

Qualifications

Admitted to practice in IL

5-7 years litigation experience

Strong knowledge of federal court practice

Securities and/or federal class action experience is a plus

Solid writing skills

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills

Strong attention to detail

Must be able to travel for court appearances and depositions
