Description:

Home Organizers Inc. is a renowned holding company to 10+ home and lifestyle brands, known for its comprehensive solutions ranging from whole home organizing to inventing sophisticated water technology. Home Organizers has a robust presence established over 30 years and powered by more than 9,000+ system-wide employees across 14+ subsidiaries. Our company combines personalized service with innovative, top-tier designs to ensure client satisfaction and enhance the functionality and aesthetics of living spaces.

We are excited to offer an opportunity for a Spring or Fall 2024 graduate with a degree in Computer Science or a related field to join us as a Software Engineer. This position involves collaboration with our Senior Software Engineer and key senior leadership in plant operations. The selected candidate will contribute to the development of proprietary 3D CAD software at our 250,000 square foot facility, which is outfitted with state-of-the-art robotic cnc machinery. This role is instrumental in integrating sophisticated manufacturing software with direct-to-machine code, playing a critical part in our advanced manufacturing processes.

The responsibilities of this position include writing, implementing, and conducting quality tests on various new scripts aimed at completing this project. The candidate will undergo training on our 3D system tech stack and is expected to achieve key results during this learning phase. As proficiency is gained, the tasks will increase in complexity, involving more self-monitoring and stringent testing after implementation. Successful completion of initial tasks will lead to further responsibilities in developing and deploying a suite of future 3D software solutions and addressing other software development needs within the company.

Ideal candidates for this position are self-motivated and have a passion for working with large-scale machine-based systems that interact with multiple end-users and involve backend robotics. A background as a hobbyist or tinkerer, with experience in 3D printers, machine code, computer-guided assembly, or similar technologies is highly desirable. We encourage applicants who have a robust library of projects—either from their academic work or personal endeavors—that demonstrate their skills and interest in these areas.

Home Organizers Inc. offers a vibrant and growing workplace where innovation and attention to detail are at the forefront of what we do. This role is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual looking to make an impact in the field of home services and technology integration.
