Position: Project HSE Manager ( KSA Nationals Only )

Job Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Project HSE Manager to oversee health, safety, and environmental practices on our projects. In this role, you will manage a team of HSE Officers, deliver training, and provide expert advice on HSE requirements. You will conduct audits, review emergency procedures, and monitor the performance of project consultants. The ideal candidate should have a minimum Nebosh Diploma, strong construction safety experience in the Middle East, and excellent influencing skills.

Responsibilities:

Manage a team of HSE Officers and provide leadership, guidance, and support.

Deliver HSE training to project team members, ensuring compliance with HSE standards and regulations.

Advise on resource requirements to meet project HSE objectives.

Provide technical advice and information to project staff regarding HSE, including KSA legislation and international codes of practice.

Participate in safety inspections, offering guidance and support to individuals assigned to specific tasks and corrective actions.

Conduct 'Incident Review' for significant incidents, and prepare comprehensive reports with recommendations for the project team and regional HSE team.

Chair monthly HSE project review meetings to discuss progress and address any HSE concerns.

Disseminate HSE project performance information to the project team and regional HSE team.

Conduct quarterly site HSE audits to ensure compliance and identify areas for improvement.

Assist project teams in reviewing HSE considerations during the selection of service providers, LDCs, and Main Contractors through technical evaluations.

Monitor and ensure the project has an up-to-date documented emergency procedure communicated to all personnel and tested as required.

Manage project consultants, monitor their performance, and report on their compliance with HSE obligations.

Desired Skills and Experience:

Minimum Nebosh Diploma (or equivalent).

Environmental Management qualification is advantageous.

OHSAS Internal Auditor trained.

OSHA 30-hour construction trained.

At least 5 years of experience in construction safety in the Middle East.

Proactive with the ability to work independently.

Excellent influencing and persuasive skills.

Preferably experienced working 'client side'.
