Job Summary

Manages multiple decontamination projects using Zyme-Flow in refinery process units and other industrial settings. Supervises field staff to ensure compliance with project, scope, and is primary point of contact for client relationships.

Job Responsibilities

Supports with supervising decontamination service operations during decontamination projects.

Attends refinery operations, maintenance, and engineering planning meetings without assistance. Meetings may also include client environmental, wastewater and safety department personnel.

Develops and writes procedures and calculate chemical, equipment, and personnel requirements.

Supervises all decontamination service operations during decontamination project completion

Demonstrates strong team leadership skills that foster a good team environment.

Responsible for training and development of the employees on their team.

Demonstrates commitment to and enforcement of company values, policies, and procedures.

Abides by company and client safety programs, policies and procedures, and works safely at all times.

Ability to conduct pre-job walks, pre-job client operator training.

Possesses an advanced understanding of refinery process unit operations and Zymeflow applications.

Ability to demonstrate basic planning for ZymeFlow Process.

Ability to communicate all aspects of ZymeFlow processes and chemical applications.

Ability to set up barrels, barrel pumps, and run and connect hoses for decontamination operations.

Monitors chemical levels and ensure injection rates are followed according to the proposed plan.

Conducts tailgate safety meetings and completes associated safety forms.

Attends plan unit operations, maintenance and engineering startup and planning meetings

Coordinates large turnarounds for execution and customer relations.

Records the events and provide status updates daily while on assignment.

Follows prescribed planning booklet instructions during execution of projects and adjust as needed.

Completes all required paperwork accurately and transmit to the corporate office.

Performs meter testing procedures to measure H2S, LEL, Benzene and other potential hazards.

Ability to read and understand plan P&ID’s and ZymeFlow process drawings.

Troubleshoots job conditions and exercise corrective actions to solve problems.

Backfills the Operations Manager.

Assists Sales Representatives with technical support.

Assists with various other job site functions as instructed.

Performs other duties assigned.

Requirements

Qualifications

Minimum of Ten (10) years of Industry Experience or Equivalent Education;

Five (5) years of Decon Experience preferred

Refinery Experience to increase communication with the clients.

Experience leading execution teams to include management of large projects.

Ability to read, understand and interpret process flow diagrams.

High initiative with the ability to mentor and coach company processes.

Ability to travel approximately 70% of the time, both domestic and international.

Active TWIC, Driver's License and US Passport.

High School Diploma or GED required; prefer a Bachelor's or Process Technology Degree.

Physical Requirements:

Individuals may need to sit or stand as needed. May require walking primarily on a level surface for periodic periods throughout the day. Reaching above shoulder heights, below the waist or lifting as required to place pumps into position in barrels. Proper lifting techniques required. May include lifting to 50 lbs. overhead with both hands during pump placement.

Work is generally performed in oil/chemical refinery or pipelines and tank terminals.

Work Environment:

Frequent exposure to dust (chemical and environmental), fumes (chemical and fluids), exhausts and highly pressurized fluids. (Respiratory protective equipment will be provided when required).

Occasional work under extreme climate conditions (excessive high heat index of 95+degree Fahrenheit, 98% humidity; and sub-zero weather conditions) relative to geographic location.

The noise level in the work environment is often in excess of 85dBa.
