Adhering to established standards, procedures and policies, the Engineer ensures that the boilers and related equipment is functioning effectively, in order to provide a safe, comfortable and efficient environment for patients, staff and visitors.

What must you have?

Must have strong mechanical aptitude skills.

Must have knowledge of HVAC equipment and its operation.

Stationary Engineers Certificate.

Experience in the operation and maintenance of boilers and related equipment.

Ensures that boilers and related equipment is functioning effectively in order to provide a safe, comfortable and efficient environment for patients, staff and visitors.

After conferring with the Chief Engineer, to write job order requests, order parts and make repairs to ensure that all equipment pertaining to Plant Operations is functioning effectively.

record all required readings and maintain accurate records regarding the operation of Plant Operations.

perform the appropriate tests on boilers, chillers, condensate tanks to determine proper chemical level as per manufacturer’s instructions.

Proven attendance record.

Demonstrates understanding and complies with patient and staff safety policies and procedures that foster a safe and inclusive environment for all.

Ability to perform the essential duties of the job.

Preferably, your profile also includes:

Millwright COQ preferred.

Hospital experience preferred.
