Process Engineer - Relocation Assistance Offered

Job Description

Aegis Worldwide is seeking an experienced and hands-on individual to join our client's team as a Process Engineer. This individual will be handling numerous capital equipment projects and installations onsite, while being responsible for maintaining quality standards, improving department profitability, and driving process efficiency.

Responsibilities include developing process methods and controls, troubleshooting mechanical and electrical equipment, managing capital projects, and leading new equipment trials. The engineer must possess hands-on experience and be comfortable working closely with operators on the floor.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering, or related discipline

3-5+ years of experience in plastics manufacturing process engineering

Familiar with lean manufacturing processes and concepts -- any certifications are a PLUS

Ability to troubleshoot and resolve equipment issues in real time.

Strong understanding of machine interfaces, heaters, and the operational aspects of extrusion equipment.
