Pierce County’s first Certified Behavioral Health Clinic:

Comprehensive Life Resource is looing for a qualified Case Manager to join our Adult Outpatient team in downtown Tacoma, WA.

Function: Provide case management and chemical dependency services to enrolled consumers at CLR. Work may be in the clinic and/or community depending on consumer needs. Serves as a member of the organization that welcomes, engages, and serves individuals with complex wellness needs.

Responsibilities:

Provide chemical dependency assessments and outpatient services for consumers seeking substance use treatment in the Reinvent Recovery Program. This work will be done under the supervision of a SUDP staff member.

Provide clinical case coordination working within a multi-disciplinary team for consumers.

Provide case management services to as defined in consumer treatment plans.

Provide group therapy as defined by program needs.

Coordinate services with other program staff, other consultants, relevant agencies, and individuals, e.g. DOC, hospitals, Congregate Care Facilities etc…)

Complete paperwork in a timely manner.

Keep records up-to-date and in compliance with WAC, Title XIX and agency requirements.

Attend treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and designated staff training and consultation sessions.

Attend SUDP/T consult/supervision groups to complete supervision hours.

Ensure that ethical and professional standards of practice are maintained.

In addition to the above, perform other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:

SUPD/T accreditation. If employee has not completed the initial 50 hours of supervision, it is expected this will be completed within first 60 days of employment.

Demonstrated ability to work with mentally ill and/or substance abusing individuals in the community.

WA State credential/license. Both Agency Affiliated and SUDP/T required.

Strong computer skills

Valid Washington State driver’s license; proof of insurance.
