Job Description
Part Time 7:30am-2pm
Responsibilities, include but are not limited to:
Act as the main point of contact for all Independent Contractors - up to 35 at a time
Develop and maintain a professional and respectful relationship with each driver to ensure a mutually beneficial partnership
Scheduling, dispatching, recruiting and managing the fleet and the entire delivery process upwards of 50 orders and 20 routes daily
Assume ownership for each order, from origination through delivery
Monitor driver and service performance as it relates to incidents, failures, vehicle breakdowns, and other potential service disruptions, and effectively find prompt solutions when these issues occur
Prioritize customer issues above lower priority activities
Prioritize critical delivery windows
Communicate solutions to customers regarding issues impacting service level agreements
Ensure critical commitments are fulfilled and coordinate special service projects
Document service issues and communicate with customer service reps when needed
Maintain strong professional relationships with internal clients, external clients, and department heads.
Ensure prompt investigation and resolution of complaints and incidents as relates to customer service failures
Uphold all company policies, goals, and values.
Continuous updating of Dispatch & SOP's with growth & policy change
Answers multi-line telephone and maintain a professional office environment
Operate Dispatch Software and GPS equipment
Embrace, promote and lead continuous process improvement efforts.
Requirements & Skills
Excellent attendance track record is a must as we cater to the healthcare industry
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced competitive environment
The ability to manage up to 35 contractors
Excellent Customer Service skills: able to diffuse tension, listen, empathize, and work to meet expectations towards solving customer issues
Possess the ability to build relationships with internal/external customers and vendor partners.
Creative prioritization and problem-solving skills.
Past office/clerical experience, requested, but not required
Proficiency in Microsoft Office software, with experience in Microsoft Outlook, and Google Sheets
Computer skills including e-mail, spreadsheets, data base activity, and keyboarding are a must.
Spanish Bilingual a plus
Able and willing to work flexible work schedule.
1 year of experience preferred.
Physical Requirements
Ability to focus and understand GPS monitoring maps for extended periods of time.
This position is physical at our office location in Downers Grove, IL.
